Chapter 3: Verse 24-25

If I cease to act, these worlds would be ruined and I shall be (considered) the cause (agent) of people?s destruction as an admixture of races (one who has intermingled races).

Lesson: The role models have to perform action for developing healthy common practices and protecting public interest.

As the ignorant act with attachment to work, O Bharata, so should the wise perform action without attachment being desirous of preventing people from going astray.

Lesson: Perform action in the larger interest of the people/society, with no attachment.
